Naby Keita's season over with an adductor injury sustained in 3-0 thrashing at Barcelona

Guinean international and Liverpool midfielder naby keita season is now confirmed over as the player picked up an adductor injury which will unfortunately keep him out for a whooping two months.

This injury also means he won't partake in the coming Africa cup of nations. This will be a major blow for Liverpool as keita has been a pivotal member of Jurgen Klopp side gunning to win their first EPL trophy.

Klopp who couldn't hide his disappointment said, ‘Naby is really unlucky. It is bad news, unfortunately. It is an adductor injury and he has ruptured a tendon. Bad news for us but bad news for him with the African Cup on Nations coming up. He was in a really good moment.

Klopp insisted he has no fears over the mentality of his player after their defeat in the hands of Lionel Messi's Barcelona.

We wish keita a speedy recovery.
